Creep Creepersins DraculaBy Seth Metoyer, MoreHorror.com

A modern take on the story of Dracula is coming in 2013 from writer and director Creep Creepersin.

Check out the official poster below the synopsis and production notes for Creep Creepersin's Dracula.

SYNOPSIS
Creep Creepersin’s Dracula is a very modern take on not just the story of Dracula but also the legacy that the story has left on our society. We begin our tale inside a huge mansion where Dracula (Peter Stickles) has been kept for many years. His only visitors are his servant, Dwight (Bruce L. Hart) and his physician Dr. Van Sloan (Domiziano Arcangeli). Dracula’s estranged wife Francine (Elina Madison) also pays him visits but more so to mock him. Something is very wrong with Dracula and through this film, we find out what that mysterious illness is. All we know is that there is a change happening to him that is making his thirst grow much more rapidly.

Dwight takes care of Dracula by bringing him new “guests” to feed off of. But over the years, the act of feeding has made Dracula nauseated so he and Dwight have been trying to find new, “less intrusive” ways to feed. Dracula is also disgusted with type of people Dwight has been bringing to the house for him mainly prostitutes and transients. That is until Dwight brings home a quick witted hitchhiker named Helen (Elissa Dowling) who immediately peaks Dracula’s interest and he allows her to be spared in order for him to have some descent company. With Helen’s help, Dracula uncovers the mystery of his illness, and many other secrets that will change the course of his “undead” life forever.

Dr. Van Sloan (Arcangeli) “in session” with Dracula (Stickles).

PRODUCTION NOTES
Creep Creepersin’s Dracula was shot in Malibu Canyon, California over five days June and July of 2012. The film (written, directed and produced by Creep Creepersin) was actually conceived while Creepersin and Arcangeli were working on another vampire film in 2009 called Orgy of Blood (which is due out for U.S. release this winter). After the huge success of Creep Creepersin’s Frankenstein in 2011, Creep decided to go ahead and green light production on his take on Dracula.

The film stars Peter Stickles, Bruce L. Hart, Domiziano Arcangeli, Elissa Dowling and Elina Madison. Featuring great cameos and by Dawna Lee Heising, Lisa Margaroli, Tara Alexis, Ming Ballard, Wil Reeves and Jonny Camp.

The film was shot by Jeff Galyan on the Cannon 7D and make up and special effects were provided by Arlen Farmer and Angie Johnson.

Dracula is a part of the Creepersin Films 2012 Slate of Awesome, the unprecedented blitzkrieg of 6 films in three months! Other titles in the slate are ‘Awesome Girl Gang Street Fighter’, ‘Alien Babes in Heat’, ‘Gritty’, ‘Paranormal Ghost Hunters Case Files’: ‘Bam the Ghost’ and ‘Fork You’. The film was originally planned for a DVD release in January 2013 but due to festival entries, that date might get pushed to summer 2013.
