Fangoria has teamed up with Lightning Media to promote 8 sub-genre horror films. The Fangoria FrightFest offers up an interactive campaign that will allow fans to watch and rate eight horror film trailers. Each of the eight films is from a various sub-genres of Horror, so there should be something for everybody to dig their teeth into.

After the voting period is completed, the trailer with the highest rating will be given a limited theatrical release. Participants will also be entered into a giveaway drawing for a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas on Halloween 2010 as well as a three year subscription to Fangoria Magazine. All participants will get access to a FREE digital copy of the movie Dementia after the rating period commences.

Some of these horror movies have been making their way around festivals, but they all deserve the extra amount of public attention. The movie titles include: James Isaac's "Pig Hunt", Jaume Balagueró's "Fragile", Steven Hentges' "Hunger", Dean Francis' "Road Train", Darin Scott's "Dark House" (one of my favorite's in the campaign), Martin Weisz' "Grimm Love", Elio Quiroga's "No-Do: The Beckoning", and finally Michael Staininger's "Ligeia".
