It seems that John Cusack has officially been cast as Edgar Allan Poe in the upcoming film titled "The Raven". We're not really sure what to think about this, specifically because Cusack is such a sub-par actor.

The "2012" actor announced via his Twitter account (@johncusack) the following, quote: "officiali- will play edgar allen poe in fall-a-film called the raven, send any poe- gold - my way as i begin this journey into the abyss"

We've seen a lot of Cusak's Tweets come across with bad grammar and spelling in the past, but we're going to chalk this one up as a possible case of "drunk-n-tweeting". More details to come when they become available.
