According to Milla Jovovich (via her Twitter account) Sienna Guillory will reprise her roll as the character Jill Valentine in Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D.

Jovovich tweeted, "So to answer many of your questions in one fell swoop, yes! The gorgeous and talented Sienna Guillory is back as Jill Valentine in RE4!!!" This should come as good news for all Resident Evil fans out there.

The forth installment of the RE series picks up where the third film left off, with Alice wondering around the world looking for survivors. One interesting aspect about this film is that Alice will reportedly come face to face with Albert Wesker. Claire and her brother Chris Redfield will also appear to assist Alice in the movie, along with Jill Valentine.

In addition, Paul W. S. Anderson will be directing the feature and it will be shot in 3D using Avatar's Fusion Camera System. Many fans (especially horror fans) have been voicing their disapproval of 3D movies, and only time will tell if 3D will have what it takes to continue drawing movie goers to the theater. Resident Evil: Afterlife is set to open on September 10, 2010.
