"Lake Placid 3: Unrated offers up supercharged CGI Crocs, fun teenage carnage and enough T&A to wet your whistle.

Originally airing on the SyFy channel, this flick adds another notch of entertainment to its franchise belt. This is one of those movies that you can throw on in the background while you surf the net on your laptop.

Obviously the CGI isn't very "fleshed out" or top notch, probably due to a lower financial budget, but what I did like about the monster crocs was their quick speed. More often than not monsters are typically too slow in my opinion, which isn't scary to me. Are the crocs realistic looking? Of course not, but are they really supposed to be? Probably not.

For what it is, Lake Placid 3 offers up a stellar effort in the "good, bad movie" department. You should add this one to your b-movie collection."

Lake Placid 3 is the latest in the franchise where horny day camping teens, a seemingly happy married couple and child, bumbling local police and a cast of whip-fast CGI Crocs all come together in a perfect storm of wrong place, right time luck.

Eureka's Colin Ferguson plays Nathan Bickerman, a zoologist / Game warden fella who returns with wife and child to Lake Placid after his grandmother Sadie dies.

"Lake Placid 3" is the most recent in the franchise where hormone driven camping teenagers, a seemingly joyful married duo and infant, clumsy local law enforcement and a cast of high-speed CGI Crocodiles collide in an ideal concoction of screaming carnage.

Starring SyFy Channel Eureka's Colin Ferguson who plays Nathan Bickerman, a zoologist/Game warden dude whom returns with his wife and child to Lake Placid after his grandmother Sadie pass away.

This is ‘creature feature’ at its most excellent and a return to the green carnivorous past from of the preceding movies. Ferguson is strange yet comes across pleasant. The wife Susan (Kirsty Mitchell) grinds as the agitated working mother. Then there is the personality of Reba (Yancy Butler), the crazy city cougar who is the neighborhood beast destroying mercenary for rent.

Michael Ironside portrays the gun touting sheriff of the small town and excels in his banter with Nathan, and comes around to the opinion that perhaps crocs are still a problem after a body remnants are found by the banks of the pond.
