Zombie film 'Love Bite' to premiere at SITGES Festival, poster and teaser trailer release

By Seth Metoyer,

Zombie short film Love Bite is set to premiere this Sunday night at the distinguished Sitges Film Festival in Barcelona, Spain (10/6 at 12:45 AM). The official teaser trailer, poster and a couple stills have also released. The film was directed by Charles de Lauririka via a screenplay he co-wrote with Carlee Baker.

Love Bite is set (according to the official synopsis and details from Dread Central) “in the not-distant-at-all future, (in which) a zombie apocalypse of flesh-craving, salivating ‘droolers’ is the least of combative couple George (Cuyle Carvin) and Nancy’s (Carlee Baker) troubles.”

The movie is presented by Iron Helmet and produced by Lauzirika, Baker, Jamie Davenport, and Andrea Flader with cinematography by Kyle Deitz.

Running time clocks in at seventeen minutes and was filmed previously this year over a three day period in a vacated cement plant in Fayetteville, Georgia, only minutes away from The Walking Dead shooting location.

Apparently, according to Dread Central, several of Love Bite’s crew members and extras were veterans from The Walking Dead.

Now that's some undead clout! This definitely sounds like a post-apocalyptic movie we need to see! Watch the Love Bite teaser trailer here.
