Ghosts, grit, and a whole lot of shadow-drenched suspense. Rayolight Productions has officially wrapped principal photography on Hennesy House Murders, an upcoming supernatural horror film that may have captured more than just footage during its two-week shoot at Virginia’s chillingly atmospheric Dunnington Mansion. The film, helmed by director Raymond Wallace, follows the crew of a ghost-hunting TV show who stumble into horrors far more real—and far more dangerous—than their ratings ever prepared them for. And the real star of the shoot? A crumbling, history-soaked estate that practically screams haunted: the Dunnington Mansion in Farmville, VA. “The mansion wasn’t just a location—it was a character,” Wallace said. “Its architecture, its energy, even its decay added something visceral to every frame we shot.” Leading the cast is horror fan-favorite Jamie Bernadette (I Spit on Your Grave: Déjà Vu, The 6th Friend), bringing her signature grit and fear-fueled intensity to the screen as the ghost-hunting crew confronts their worst nightmares. Filming took place almost entirely at night, adding a layer of real-world eeriness to an already intense story. And with much of the cast and crew coming from North Carolina’s Outer Banks, there’s a strong regional presence both in front of and behind the camera. “We’re blending the history of a real place with a modern, terrifying narrative,” added Executive Producer Sam Cortez. “There’s something powerful about shooting horror in a space that already feels like it’s holding onto its secrets.” While the main shoot is in the can, a few final scenes will be filmed on the Outer Banks before the movie heads into post-production.
