Yeon Sang-ho's acclaimed South Korean zombie thriller returns December 15 with a remastered anniversary edition, extensive bonus features and a special DVD giveaway for More Horror readers.

Ten years after unleashing one of modern horror's most memorable zombie outbreaks, Train to Busan is heading back into the physical media spotlight.

Well Go USA Entertainment has announced TRAIN TO BUSAN: 10TH ANNIVERSARY REMASTERED & REVIVED, arriving December 15, 2026, in a 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray box set and DVD edition. Both releases celebrate the film's tenth anniversary with newly assembled bonus materials, filmmaker commentary tracks, and behind-the-scenes content.

And there's more good news for horror fans: More Horror has partnered with Well Go USA Entertainment to offer a special DVD giveaway celebrating the anniversary release. Additional giveaway details will be announced soon.

A Decade of Zombie Horror

Directed by Yeon Sang-ho, Train to Busan became an international sensation following its 2016 release, helping redefine modern zombie cinema with its relentless pacing, claustrophobic setting, and surprisingly emotional storytelling.

The film follows Seok-woo (Gong Yoo), a father accompanying his young daughter Su-an (Kim Su-an) on a train journey across South Korea. When a rapidly spreading zombie outbreak engulfs the country, the passengers find themselves trapped aboard a speeding train, fighting to survive as the infection moves from carriage to carriage.

Also starring Jung Yu-mi and Ma Dong-seok (Don Lee), the film balances brutal survival horror with themes of sacrifice, family, and the darker impulses of human nature.

A decade later, Train to Busan remains a landmark of contemporary international horror.
